Configure Hotmail in Microsoft Outlook 2018

For Gmail account you want to receive mail using Microsoft Outlook, you need to enable POP or IMAP mode on your account, and with Hotmail, this is not necessary. 

Open up Microsoft Outlook 2018.

Welcome window appears. Click Next

Account window appears, select Yes and click Next

(In case you already have an account in Outlook now want to add or change other account, you go to File menu / select Account Settings / in the Email tab you click New button)

You enter your Hotmail account information into the "Add account" window. Click Next.

Wait for the program to connect to Hotmail and send a message to your account.

When you get the message "Congratulations! Your email is successfully configured and ready for use." Click Finish.
